Description
Kurinuki Candle holder in Violet Blue Speckled Glaze
A small, sculptural candle holder for your shelf, mantel or bedside table. It’s carved from a solid block of stoneware in the Japanese kurinuki style, then hollowed out by hand, so the faceted, rock-like surface keeps every mark of the carving.
The glaze is a glossy violet-blue, pooling into pale sky-blue clouds and flecked with golden-yellow speckles. It catches the light differently from every angle, and the carved ridges mean the colour deepens and breaks as it settles into the grooves.
