What personal data is collected and why
Transactions:
When you follow through with a transaction, as part of the process your details are collected, such as your name, email address, billing, phone number and address. This information is strictly used to follow through with a transaction.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your account or transaction, and/or to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and post.
Newsletter/Contact forms:
Your name and email are collected if you sign up to the mailing list online and if you’ve signed up in-person at fairs and so on.
This data is only collected to provide you with professional notices.
Comments:
When visitors leave comments on the site the data shown in the comments form is collected, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies:
If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Cookies are used to analyse web traffic. Cookies do not provide us with access to your computer or any information about you, other than that which you choose to share with us.
How do we store your personal information?
Apple Tree Attic is hosted on WordPress.org and with Hostgator. We then use Woocommerce to provide the online platform that allows the sale of products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Woocommerce’s data storage, databases and the general application. They store your data on secure servers.
Apple Tree Attic does not personally hold any credit card information.
We do not sell or share your personal information with others unless required to do so by law.

Apple Tree Attic reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently.
